HostingCon 2013 will take place in Austin, Texas, known as the Live Music Capital of the World®, at the Austin Convention Center. Austin also has a vibrant food and nightlife scene, eclectic shops, world-class museums and the liveliest festivals you’ll find. Austin’s Sixth Street – just two blocks from the convention center – is widely known for its unique blend of dance clubs, live music venues, restaurants and bars. Austin is home to the long-running PBS TV concert series Austin City Limits. Lady Bird Lake in the downtown area is considered one of the best recreational spots in the city and you can view the sunset exodus of bats from under the Congress Avenue Bridge most evenings.
